If you want to replace the contents of one column with another in Excel, you must do the following:

Method 1) For example, suppose in the following figure you want to swap the contents of two adjacent columns A and B together. To do this, select the right column. (The right column must be selected. To replace the contents of two rows, you must select the bottom row.)
